Macedonian Captain Bear

George Lepidados or Alepedatos 1856-1906.
George Lepidados or Alepedatos, son of Nicola and known as captain bear was a very important Greek Macedonian chieftain from Samarina. George was born in 1856 in Samarina of Grevena. His father Nicolas participated in the Macedonian revolution of 1854.
George was named as captain bear because of his body type, he was tall and a strong fighter.He was a legent in the war against Boulgarians, Romanias and Turks.
